It's easy to spend a weekend, or longer, and relax on the Monferrato Hills at La Corte Chiusa, the beautiful nineteenth century estate hosting the historical family cellars, where four charming bedrooms and a cottage have been elegantly restored to lodge our guests.

Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room with a view on the porch lining the courtyard. The guests, welcomed by the Marquise Barbara Incisa and her son Filiberto, will be able to visit the winery, its cellars and the barriquerie, gaining a deeper understanding of the wine making process.
Wine tasting seminars and cooking classes will be held for wine and food lovers in the brick vaulted reception rooms and in the new professional kitchen.

The Monferrato area, where the estate is located, offers so many different forms of attraction that even the most demanding or those who simply wish to relax will be amply satisfied in their requests. This territory is very rich in ancient Roman historical sites (including thermal baths), mediaeval castles, churches, abbeys and museums, which bear witness to its important past history. These cultural centers are all very close to La Corte Chiusa which enjoys a strategic position for such trips and excursions. Not to mention Alba and the Barolo wine area which are just 35 Km/20 Miles away.

Rooms: 4 double rooms which can be transformed into twin bedded rooms on request. In one room a third bed can be added. All with private bathroom. Private parking on the grounds.

Cottage: 2 double rooms and a bathroom on the first floor, living room and kitchen on the ground floor. Little private garden with table and chairs for au-dehors breakfast and meals. Private parking on the grounds.

Spoken Languages: English, French and German are spoken.

Well-behaved small pets are always welcome. They will enjoy the company of our Sax (dachshund) and Pepe (jack russel terrier).

Sports: Mountain bikes are available at the winery for riding on the surrounding hills and into the natural Park of Rocchetta Tanaro. Golf greens are within easy reach (about 20 minutes-drive from the winery). A tennis court is available in the village. Horse riding can be organised easily on demand.
